Stars and Crown LTD is specialised in supported living and care providers, as well as health and social care workforce recruitment, agency staffing, and general human resources services within a B2B (business-to-business) model. Our primary focus, apart from providing care, is also to bridge the gap between skilled professionals and care providers by delivering qualified, well-trained, and compassionate health and social care workers to various settings, including care homes, residential care, supported living, live-in care, and other healthcare services.  

At Stars and Crown LTD, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of care by ensuring that our staff are not only certified and experienced but also dedicated to person-centered care. We understand the critical role of healthcare professionals in enhancing the well-being of vulnerable individuals, and we take pride in matching the right talent with the right opportunities to create positive outcomes for both care providers and service users.

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement For the financial year ending April 2025


This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Although Stars & Crowns LTD is not legally required to produce a modern slavery statement due to our turnover being below the £36 million threshold, we have chosen to do so voluntarily. We believe that transparency, accountability, and ethical practices must remain central to our business operations. We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and are committed to doing everything within our power to prevent such practices in our organisation and supply chains.

About Stars & Crowns LTD

Stars & Crowns LTD is a UK-based health and social care organisation providing high-quality respite accommodation, supported living, and care staffing solutions. Our primary focus is the wellbeing of vulnerable adults, including victims and survivors of domestic violence. Our services are delivered by trained and compassionate staff, including NVQ-qualified support workers and registered nurses. We operate from our registered location at 38 Myrtle Road, Romford, RM3 8XS, serving communities across London and surrounding areas.

Our Commitment to Preventing Modern Slavery

At Stars & Crowns LTD, we are deeply committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all areas of our work. We recognise the serious risks posed by modern slavery, and we are dedicated to ensuring that neither slavery nor human trafficking exists within our business or wider supply chain. We promote an open culture where exploitation is never tolerated, and we have systems in place to allow for the safe reporting and investigation of concerns.

Supply Chain and Due Diligence

Although our supply chain is relatively simple and mostly UK-based, we take active steps to monitor and reduce any risk of exploitation. This includes carrying out due diligence checks on all suppliers and contractors, ensuring that they comply with UK employment law and ethical working practices. All supplier contracts contain clear terms around safeguarding and ethical conduct. We encourage all our partners to demonstrate a similar commitment to human rights.

Staff Training and Awareness

All staff at Stars & Crowns LTD receive training on safeguarding and how to identify signs of abuse, exploitation, and human trafficking. This training is part of our induction process and is refreshed regularly to ensure all staff understand how to recognise and report concerns. We empower our team to take action and speak up if they believe someone is at risk.

Organisational Policies

Our internal policies are designed to create a safe and transparent working environment. Key policies that support our stance against modern slavery include our Safeguarding Policy, Whistleblowing Policy, Recruitment Policy, and our Equality and Diversity Policy. These documents are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure they remain up to date and effective.

Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

We are committed to continuously improving our practices. In the coming year, we intend to strengthen our supplier engagement process to include more robust checks and declarations related to modern slavery. We also plan to enhance staff training through real-life case studies and to carry out periodic internal audits to ensure our practices remain strong and effective.

Approval and Sign-off

This statement was approved by the Board of Directors of Stars & Crowns LTD on April 10th 2025 and will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains reflective of our principles and compliance with best practice.
